The 1894 South Dakota gubernatorial election was held on November 6, 1894, to elect a Governor of South Dakota. Republican Governor of South Dakota Charles H. Sheldon was re-elected, defeating Independent Isaac Howe, Democratic nominee Jasper A. Ward, and Prohibition Party nominee M. D. Alexander.
