Soumya Swaminathan (born 21 March 1989) is a chess player and Woman Grandmaster from India. In November 2009, she won the World Junior Chess Championship (for women under 20) held in Argentina, with 9½/13, winning on tie-break.[1]
In January 2011, she won the 2011 Indian Women Chess Championship, scoring 8½/11.[2]
