Soriano is a biographical documentary on the life and works of Osvaldo Soriano. The film, directed by Eduardo Montes-Bradley reconstructs the life and exile of the Argentine writer through a series of testimonies of friends and family members.[1] Soriano includes rare footage in 16mm. filmed by Soriano and friends during the early 1960s. Soriano'’ was filmed in several locations including Milan, Rome, Paris, Linz am Rhein, Brussels, and Buenos Aires, and includes interviews with Osvaldo Bayer, Héctor Olivera, Gianni Minà, Franco Lucentini, Federico Luppi, Eduardo Galeano, Fernando Birri and others.[2] The release of the film was followed shortly thereafter by the publication of “Soriano: Un Retrato”[3] a book of interviews containing the remaining parts of the interview that did not make it into the corpus of the film.[4]
