Sophie el Goulli (born February 1932[1]) is a Tunisian writer and art historian.[2]
She was born in Sousse and was educated at the Sorbonne. El Goulli worked for the Tunisian Minister of Culture and taught art history at the University of Tunis.[3] She also has contributed to the cinematic arts journal SeptièmArt.[2] Since her retirement in 1993, she has lived in Tunis.[1]
El Gouilli established the Tunisian film library.[4] She received the Prix Culturel du Cinéma in 1991 and the Prix national de la Critique in 1992.[1]
