Sophie Dee (born 17 January 1984)[1] is a British actress, stripper, and former pornographic actress.[2]
Career
After leaving school she had various jobs, such as working in cafes and selling products door-to-door. She later became a lapdancer and stripper in Birmingham, England, and eventually found a topless modelling job.[3] She worked as a Page Three girl for about a year and a half.[4]
In January 2005, Dee moved to the United States to start her adult film career.[2] As of 2014 and has been featured in more than 450 movies.[1] She chose her stage name because, "A friend told me I looked like Sophie Dahl. So, that's how I picked my name. I just added the 'Dee.'"[5]
Mainstream appearances
Apart from her pornographic career, Dee has appeared in several mainstream productions.[6] She has starred in two independent horror films, Theater of Derange and Unmimely Demise.[7] In 2011 she launched a mainstream film review site, ToplessMovieReviews.com.[8] In May 2014, Dee appeared in the music video for Unicorn Zombie Apocalypse by Borgore & Sikdope. The video also features actress Shannen Doherty and actor Zack Ward.[9]
She has gone on to appear in a string of minor roles in various television shows and movies credited as Sophie Dee as well as Kirsty Hill which include a sequel to one of her earlier appearances, Theater of Derange II and the Fox Network comedy series New Girl.[6]
In 2014, Dee appeared in the film A Haunted House 2.[2]
Personal life
Dee was born in Carmarthen and lived with her father, stepmother and brother.[3] She initially attended school in Wales, moved to the West Midlands for a while, but later moved back to Carmarthen to finish secondary school.[4]
She has had breast enlargement surgery which took her from a C-cup to a DD-cup,[4] giving her measurements in early 2010 as 34DD-26-38.[5] In March 2009, she subsequently augmented them to 36F (equivalent to US 36DDD).[1]
Dee was once married to fellow pornographic actor Lee Bang.[2] Dee identifies as bisexual.[5]
