Television Survivor: South Pacific (winner)

Sophie Clarke (born July 10, 1989) is a former reality TV personality known for being the winner of Survivor: South Pacific.[1]

Early life

Clarke is a native of Willsboro, New York, and a graduate of Middlebury College. She attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.[2]

Survivor: South Pacific

Sophie Clarke was one of the eighteen contestants on Survivor: South Pacific.

On the first night, a final five alliance that would dominate the game was formed between Clarke, Benjamin "Coach" Wade, Rick Nelson, Brandon Hantz, and Albert Destrade. Wade then recruited Edna Ma as the sixth member of their alliance. The six player alliance eliminated all other players from the game.

Clarke won her first immunity challenge on Day 27 of the game. At tribal council, another immunity challenge immediately took place which Clarke also won. At the game's final immunity challenge, Ozzy Lusth had a significant lead in the beginning, got stuck on the puzzle and Clarke came from behind to win.

With Clarke, Wade and Destrade as the final three, Clarke began to reflect on the game and how it changed her. Clarke felt she outplayed, outlasted and outwitted everyone by winning the most immunities and by keeping a first day alliance intact. In the end, the jury rewarded Clarke in a 6–3–0 vote over Wade and Destrade. She was able to gain the votes of Whitney Duncan, Brandon Hantz, Ozzy Lusth, Dawn Meehan, Jim Rice and Keith Tollefson.[3][4]
