Sonny Esslemont

Sonny Esslemont (born 29 December 1993) is a professional rugby league player for Hull KR.

He plays as a back-rower, and is currently part of Hull KR's first team. He has came through Hull KR's academy, and signed a professional contract in 2012. He has been picked in the 19 man squad against Bradford Bulls on 20 June 2014, due to injuries affecting Hull KR. He did play and he also appeared against Huddersfield Giants.

In October 2014, Sonny was called up to play for Scotland in their 2014 European Cup campaign. He made his International début in the tournament's opening game against Wales.
