Canal Walk is centrally located along a stretch of a man-made canal running through the heart of Songdo IBD.[4] It stretches 2625 feet within D1-D4 blocks.[5] Each block contains five-story glass buildings. First two stories are retail units that comprise fitness club, bookstore, general stores, and restaurants. Also top three stories contain 445 luxury officetel units.[6] The site also encourages pedestrian flow by protecting people from traffic and noise.[7]
