Song of India (song)

"Song of India" is an aria from Rimsky-Korsakov's 1896 opera Sadko. In January 1937, Tommy Dorsey recorded an instrumental jazz arrangement featuring Bunny Berigan on trumpet, which became a jazz standard.[1][2] Along with "Marie", it was a major hit for Dorsey, which made him into a household name in the United States.[3]
