Song Chang-Sik (hangul: 송창식) is a South Korean folk singer-songwriter born in 1947. Song is well known for denying the traditional Solfège (both Korean and Western), and re-interpreting the melody on his own. These melodies can be hardly written with traditional note system, as he "creates" notes that never existed.[1]

He still remains as one of the most important figure in Korean music history.
