Sonchus palustris (commonly known as marsh sow-thistle) is a plant native to temperate regions of the Northern hemisphere, including Canada[1] and the UK. It can be found in damp peaty or silty soils rich in nitrogen, in a Eurosiberian temperate climate.[2]
