Sonam Bajwa is a model and actress active in Punjabi and Tamil cinema. She participated in the Femina Miss India contest in 2012. She played the leading female role in the 2014 Blockbuster Punjabi film Punjab 1984.[2]
Early life and modelling career
Sonam Bajwa was born in a small town close to Nainital.[3] She entered the Femina Miss India contest but she lost the 2012 competition.
She acted in two Punjabi films, including Punjab 1984. She was subsequently shortlisted to act opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Happy New Year, but was not chosen for the role.[4]
