"Some Girls (Dance with Women)" is the second solo single from ex-'N Sync band-member JC Chasez' debut solo album, Schizophrenic. The single was released in November 2003 in the United States, before appearing as part of a double A-Side single with "Blowin' Me Up (with Her Love)" in the United Kingdom in 2004. The single reached #88 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and #13 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was rated #40 on VH1's Most Awesomely Bad Songs Ever. Most recently, it was ranked at #82 on the list of the 100 Worst Songs Ever by Matthew Wilkening of AOL Radio, who tells Chasez in absentia, "Singing in monotone falsetto on one of the worst songs to explain why girls grind each other at clubs will likely not win you any of them."[1]

Music video

Set in a trendy club and moonlit city streets, JC explains why some girls like to dance with women in order to get some attention. For the video, Chasez worked with director Martin Weisz, best known for Korn's "Make Me Bad" video. "Everything was done in good taste," Chasez said. "A lot of cats were worried it would be really strong, but it's just enough to put a smile on your face. I shot it with a very European feel. I didn't want it to be overly flashy and look like every video." The video is set in the streets of Prague, although it was actually filmed mostly in Los Angeles, with Dirt's cameo shot a few days ago in New York City. "It's a narrative in that I'm the voyeur, watching the action," Chasez added with a laugh. "It moves [from the street] into a ballroom, but it's not a club scene. It's like a costume party, a Baroque period kind of feel, with white wigs and white makeup."
