Somaline Ang (born August 16, 1994), also known as Hong Ling, is a Singaporean actress of Chinese and Thai heritage, signed to MediaCorp. She rose to fame after being one of the semi-finalists in Channel U's talent search programme Hey Gorgeous in 2013 and starring in 270-episode drama 118.
Biography
Ang was born to a Singaporean Chinese father and a Thai mother, both who are self-employed. She was discovered through talent search programme Hey Gorgeous, in which she emerged as one of the semi-finalists in 2013.[1] Subsequently, she completed an acting course at the Singapore Media Academy in 2014.
Personal life
Ang studied in Fuchun Secondary School. She is currently pursuing a Diploma in Business Information Technology at Temasek Polytechnic, and is juggling between school and attending performing arts classes.[2]
