Solidiance is a corporate strategy consulting firm that works with Fortune 500 companies and Asian conglomerates in emerging Asian markets.[1][2] Solidiance was incorporated in 2007 and is headquartered in Singapore.[3] The company also has offices located in China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and other parts of Asia.[4][5]
Company history
Solidiance was established in 2006 by co-founders Damien Duhamel and Heiko Bugs.[6] The firm started off concurrently in Shanghai, China and Singapore (headquarter office). Solidiance's presence has now expanded across the Asia region with offices in other eight countries including India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and the United Arab Emirates.[7]
In 2012, Solidiance initiated an alliance with Arthur D. Little, an international management consulting firm, in a combined effort to pursue business development in the Asia-Pacific region.[8]
In 2013, the firm released a report that ranked the most innovative cities in the Asia-Pacific area.[2][4][9] [10][11] The study was conducted by Solidiance over a period of two years covering sixteen Asian-Pacific cities and aimed at identifying the best cities for new business.[4][12]
Operations
Solidiance focuses their area of expertise around clean technology, industrial applications, health care, and technology sectors.[13] The firm primarily assists Fortune 500 companies and Asian conglomerates in understanding the market landscape of the Asia-Pacific region. [5] [12] The company provides evidence-based strategic consulting and marketing advice for companies in Asian emerging markets.[14] The company specializes in services concerning business-to-business (B2B) strategy along with entry and growth strategy.[8]
I-Ask Institute Pte. Ltd.
Solidiance set up the Institute for Asia Strategy and Knowledge (I-Ask) as professional education institution that offers seminars focuses on the Asia-Pacific region for senior executives and managers of multinational businesses.[15]
