Snwazna Adams (born 1987 in Providenciales) is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Turks and Caicos 2013 and represented the islands at the Miss Universe 2013 Pageant.[1]
Snwazna is the first to be crown Miss Universe Turks and Caicos with the pageant under the direction of Kazz Forbes, Saint George Fashion House (SGFH) and the newly established Miss Turks and Caicos Universe Beauty Organization (MTCUBO) in partnership with the Turks and Caicos Islands Tourist Board. She is also a Saint George Fashion House muse model.
Early life
At 26, Snwazna spent the majority of her life on the beautiful Island of Providenciales. Currently employed at her alma mater; the Clement Howell High School - she always had a passion for education. Snwazna's heritage mainly stems from the beautiful shores of Grand Turk and North Caicos. After completing high school, she went abroad to St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida, USA.[2] where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, her major was Biology. Believing that education is a gateway to success, she enrolled at Nova Southeastern University and obtained a Master’s of Science degree.
At an early age, Snwazna developed a passion for sports. This is where her interest in softball began. She is currently a member of the Panthers Night League team and Cheerleading Coach at Clement Howell High School. Snwazna enjoy water sports and love dogs. Her passion for education is what drives her to educate the minds of students and she believe in making them well rounded individuals by encouraging them to participate in extracurricular activities.
Miss Turks and Caicos 2013
Snwazna Adams, who stands 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in), competed as one of the finalists in her island's national beauty pageant Miss Universe Turks and Caicos 2013, held on April 26 and 27 2013 at the Williams Auditorium in Providenciales. Adams gained the right to represent her country in Miss Universe 2013. As the winner of Miss Universe Turks and Caicos 2013, Snwazna will gain affiliation with several island organizations as an ambassador and spokesperson.
