Sleeping on Trash: A Collection of Songs Recorded 2005-2010 is a compilation album by pop punk band The Wonder Years. The album is a compilation of all of the The Wonder Years recordings prior to the release of The Upsides, with the exception of Get Stoked On It!, and was released on February 11, 2013, by Hopeless Records. The band had made it known that they are not proud of the Get Stoked On It! album and will not re-release that album physically. However, they have released the other rarities to make it easier for fans to get their hands on The Wonder Years complete discography without having to track EP's and Splits down on auctioning sites.
The album available on CD and digitally, and also had a limited run on 12" Vinyl. The pressing was limited to 1000 on Maroon (to represent the color of their van), 800 Silver (to represent the color of their trailer), and 200 on Coke Bottle clear, available exclusively through the No Sleep Records 2013 vinyl subscription. All future pressing are said to be on Black vinyl.
Sleeping On Trash was released whilst The Wonder Years were in the studio recording The Greatest Generation.
