Sleeping Bag (band)
Sleeping Bag is an American alternative/indie rock band based out of Bloomington, Indiana, United States. The band began as a solo drum project for Dave Segedy, but in 2010 he brought in guitarist Lewis Rogers and bassist David Woodruff to round out the band’s sound.
History
Sleeping Bag formed in March 2010, when bassist David Woodruff and guitarist Lewis Rogers began practicing and playing with drummer and singer Dave Segedy. Segedy had written many songs for his solo drum project, Whoa Bro Awesome,[1] but found they could be better translated with the addition of Rogers and Woodruff. The band began playing locally in Bloomington, and released their first album in August 2011 through Joyful Noise Recordings.
