Skypicker is a flight search engine that allows users to find and to book plane tickets for the cheapest prices. It includes a map enabling to choose the place of arrival and departure by the state, region, or the city.

History

The development of Skypicker started in October 2011. Next year in April the company SkyPicker.com s.r.o. was established. In December 2013, Skypicker.com got an investment from Touzimsky Kapital Group and acquired WhichAirline.com.[1]

Product

The website is focused on European low-cost travellers.[2] Thanks to the interactive map displayed on the home page it allows to choose the place of arrival and departure by the city, region or the state. Users don't have to enter exact date of their flight and the system always offers the best prices from available flights.[3][4] Skypicker.com offers its product both as website and mobile app (Android, iOS).

Media

In July 2012 the site appear in the French daily newspaper Le Figaro.[2] Two months later Skypicker was listed among "10 Travel Web Sites Worth Bookmarking" by Seth Kugel from New York Times.[3]
