Skomarje is a settlement in the Pohorje Hills northwest of Zreče in northeastern Slovenia. The area was traditionally part of Lower Styria. It is now included with the rest of the Municipality of Zreče into the Savinja statistical region.[2]
The local parish church in the village is dedicated to Saint Lambert and belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Maribor. It is a medieval church that was expanded in the 18th century.[3]
