Sivagiri is a panchayat town in Erode district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Sivagiri has an average elevation of 199 metres (653 ft). It is located 25 km (16 mi) to the south of Erode, 35 km (22 mi) to the north-west of Karur, 40 km (25 mi) to the west of Namakkal and 45 km (28 mi) to the east of Tirupur. Sivagiri means 'Shiva's peak' which might have been derived from the hill lock with a Shiva temple located in the town. Its economy is dependent on the agriculture and textile industries.
