Club career
Camara was signed to defending champions Etoile FC in the 2011 S.League season. He made his debut in a 0-0 draw against Balestier Khalsa.[3] His first goal for the club would come in the 1-1 draw against Home United in the 2011 Singapore Cup.[4] His first league goal came on the 27 September, in the 2-1 victory over Hougang United.[5]
Following the withdrawal of Etoile from the 2012 S.League season, Camara moved to Courts Young Lions before signing for Home United in 2013. He won the Singapore Cup in his maiden season with Home United and was recognised with the S.League Young Player of the Year award. With Home United, he was also part of the league's strongest defence the same season as they finished league runners-up.
He scored his first goal of the 2015 S.League season in the 3rd match of the season, scoring the 2nd goal in a 2-0 win over Tampines Rovers to hand Home their first win of the season.[6]
International career
In July 2013, Camara indicated he is receptive to the idea of obtaining Singaporean citizenship and playing for the Singapore national team.[7] National team coach Bernd Stange had been impressed with Camara's ability to play in several positions, adding that he is capable of playing for a top European club.[8] He would call up Camara if he has a Singapore passport.[9]
