Sir John Osborne, 7th Baronet
Sir John Osborne, 7th Baronet, MP (d. 11 April 1743), was an Irish baronet and politician.
Biography
He was the son of Nicholas Osborne (d. 25 December 1714) and wife Anne Parsons and grandson of Sir Thomas Osborne, 5th Baronet. He succeeded in the baronetcy on 10 October 1715 on the death of his elder brother. He was a practising barrister and also sat as a Member of Parliament in the Irish House of Commons for Lismore between 1719 and 1727 and for Waterford County between 1727 and 1743.
Marriage and issue
Sir John Osborne married Editha Proby (? - 19 January 1745), daughter of William Proby and wife Henrietta Cornwall, and had an only son:
