Sir John Ogilvy, 9th Baronet

Sir John Ogilvy, 9th Baronet (17 March 1803 – 9 March 1890), was a Scottish Liberal Party politician. He was MP for Dundee from 1857 to 1874. With his wife Lady Jane Ogilvy (daughter of Lord Henry Howard-Molyneux-Howard) he was largely responsible for the foundation of Baldovan Institution in 1852.[1] His heir was Sir Reginald Ogilvy, 10th Baronet, who died in 1910.[2]
