Sir Edward Acton, 3rd Baronet

Sir Edward Acton, 3rd Baronet (c. 1650 – 28 September 1716) was the son of Sir Walter Acton, 2nd Baronet, he succeeded to the baronetage upon the death of his father.[1] He was Tory Member of Parliament for Bridgnorth from 1689 until 1705, and was a barrister, being a member of the Inner Temple.

He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire from 1684 to 1685. He held the office of Recorder of Bridgnorth in 1701.[2]
