Players
Twelve players were selected for the 2011 World Championships.[1][2][3] Two members of the wider squad were initially selected for the World Championships but subsequently had to be replaced. Cassandra Soh, a shooter, withdrew from the team through injury.[4] Chinese-born 1.96-metre goal keeper Chen LiLi was initially named in the team, pending approval of her application for Singaporean citizenship, but was subsequently withdrawn when her application was not approved in time.[5]
