Sinan Bytyqi, (born 15 January 1995) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Netherlands club Cambuur and the Austria national under-19 football team.

Club career

Admira

He gained entry at Admira II in 2012 as he participated with the team in the 16th game week of the 2011–12 Austrian Regional League East against Wiener SK on 2 March 2012, where he was an unused substitute for the entire match.[1] He made it his first debut in the next upcoming game week on 9 March 2012 against SV Schwechat playing as a starter and got substituted off in the 55th minute for Daniel Maurer, as the match finished in the 1–0 home victory.[2] In the third consecutive game week, Bytyqi played again and as a starter on 16 March 2012 against Neusiedl am See 1919, finished in the 4–1 loss, where he substituted off in the 75th minute for David Peham.[3]

Manchester City

On 24 September 2014 Bytyqi participated for the first time with Manchester City first team in the match valid for the 2014–15 Football League Cup against Sheffield Wednesday, finished in the 7–0 victory, in where Bytyqi was an unused substitute, holding the shirt number 75.[4]

After the fellow Albanian descent player Bersant Celina, provided a professional contract with Manchester City, on 9 January 2015 Bytyqi also signed a professional contract with Citizens and soon was loaned to the Netherlands team Cambuur, which closed the first phase of the 2014–15 Eredivisie in seventh place, to ensure participation in the UEFA Europa League.[5]

Cambuur

He made it his first debut in professional level with Cambuur on 17 January 2015, coming on as a substitute in the 64th minute in place of Daniël de Ridder, in a 2–2 away draw against ADO Den Haag, match valid for the 18th game week.[6]
