Simulated Comic Product, is a webcomic created by Kevin Forbes which ran from 2005 to 2009.[1]
The strips are usually in color with solid fill and are drawn on a graphics tablet. Though there is no continuity involved in the strip, it frequently features a dystopian future, often involving robots. The humour is dark and reminiscent of The Perry Bible Fellowship. Most strips are three panels, relying on a situation being built up in the first two, and then a dark and unexpected denouement in the third.
SCP featured weekly on the Flak Magazine website and in Zoinks magazine, a bi-monthly Canadian-based webcomics publication.
Since the end of the comic, Forbes has used the simulatedcomicproduct.com domain to redirect to robotandghost.com/ - a general purpose blog and portfolio site, and has become a games developer for Klei Entertainment.[2][3]
