Silvia Saint (born Silvie Tomčalová;[1][2] February 12, 1976)[3][6] is a Czech former pornographic actress.[4] In 1996, she was Penthouse Pet of the Year in the Czech edition of the magazine,[7][8] and she has appeared in over 300 pornographic movies.[4]

Career

Tomčalová studied management for two years in Brno. She worked as a manager of a large hotel in the Czech city of Zlín and in other companies as an accountant and marketing coordinator. She found that the work was financially unsatisfactory, so she moved on to modeling, first lingerie, then nude in magazines, and finally to pornographic films.[6] She was Penthouse Pet of the Year in 1996 (Czech edition).[9] After her introduction to the American porn industry, she became the October 1998 Penthouse Pet of the Month (U.S. edition).[3]

Saint's early films were shot in Europe, many for Private Media Group.[4][5] Later, she moved to the United States where she spent over three years working in the porn industry.

Saint starred in a Private Media Group space-themed pornographic film The Uranus Experiment: Part Two,[4] which featured a brief scene filmed in a Russian aircraft flying a parabolic track (similar to NASA's Vomit Comet). The film featured around 20 seconds of Saint and Nick Lang (who both portray astronauts living on a space station) having penetrative sex in freefall. The scene was nominated for a Nebula Award, but it did not win.[10]

Saint was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at Torino Sex 2005, Turin's second annual Delta of Venus Fair.[11]

In 2006, Saint won the rights to the Internet domain name silviasaint.com from a cybersquatter in a Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy action.[2]
