Signy Aarna (born 4 October 1990) is an Estonian international football forward from Ahja, Põlva County. She started play on women's level at FC Lootos. She currently plays for Pallokissat on Naisten Liiga at Finland.

Club career

Aarna started trainings on youth team of FC Lootos as goalkeeper at 2003. On years 2005,2007 and 2008 she was win Estonian youth champion titles on different age classes.

FC Lootos

2008 she started on squad FC Lootos senior career on 1.Division of Estonian Women's Championship Esiliiga. FC Lootos win the league and Signy was best scorer on tournament scored 48 goals. Since 2009 she plays for FC Lootos on Estonian Women's Championship Meistriliiga. She`s a club most capped player 121 games in all competitions and scored 166 goals for FC Lootos on Estonian league and cup games.

Pallokissat

Despite offers from other Meistriliiga clubs, Aarna opted to stay in her homeclub until leaving the country. After the end of season 2013, Aarna signed she`s first professional contract Naisten Liiga club Pallokissat in Finland. On she`s debut season Aarna scored 13 goals on 21 matches helped won the team third place and first ever medals on club history.

National team career

Signy debuted for the senior national team on Baltic Tournament 2009 starting game in 29 April 2009 against Latvia and scoring last, 5th goal on homeground, Lootospark. Previously she played at Under-17 and under-19 levels.

Personal life

Signy attended Ahja Keskkool. In 2009 she moved to University of Tartu to study sports development with coaching.

2010 Signy was awarded Female Meistriliiga Footballer of the Season and 2011 Female Footballer of the Year
