Sidney Evans (born 1893 - unknown) was an English footballer. His regular position was as a forward. He was born in Heath Town, West Midlands.
After being spotted playing amateur football, Evans was brought to Cardiff City by then manager Fred Stewart in the club's first season in The Football League, making his debut in a 1-0 defeat to Leeds United. In his second game he scored what would later turn out to be his only goal for the club during a 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest. Having helped the club to win promotion to Division One he struggled to make an impact on the side in his second year due to the performances of Billy Grimshaw and later left the club, signing for Manchester United where he finished his professional career.
