Sic 'Em Friday

Sic 'Em Friday and Sic'emation were blocks of programming on MTV2. Each block is dedicated to airing "outrageous" shows, either of the live-action or animated variety. They both had lasted from 2005 to 2007.

How it started

As 2005 began, most of MTV2's programming continued moving with the general trend that had already started years earlier. The channel's focus on non-music video programming continued, with most promotion centered around other shows, including a Sic 'Em Friday block of "outrageous" shows.

Sic'emation

In 2005 MTV2 had premiered a daily block entitled Sic 'Em Fridays, which was a block that was only airing on Fridays, for an hour a week, from 8-9PM ET/7-8PM CT, with shows such as Wonder Showzen and The Andy Milonakis Show and a sleuth of others. Again in 2006, MTV2 expanded this focus by creating a second block of "outrageous" animated block of shows called Sic'emation, and this block was on Saturdays for two hours and had expanded to three hours, with airing shows as Where My Dogs At?, Celebrity Deathmatch, The Adventures of Chico and Guapo and Beavis and Butthead. In the Pacific timezone, MTV2's schedule was 3 hours less, but Sic'emation was broadcasting the shows at same time as Eastern time-zone.

Beavis and Butthead is the only show that had repeats (which mean that MTV2 airs old shows of Beavis and Butthead).

When MTV2 launched had launched the new block entitled Sic'emation, it aired Nickelodeon shows such as The Ren and Stimpy Show, SpongeBob SquarePants, Invader ZIM, and Kappa Mikey for a short duration of time, in 2005.
