The Shreveport Rugby Football Club is a men's rugby union team based in Shreveport, Louisiana, USA. The club competes in and is governed by the Texas Geographical Union (GU) and USA Rugby.[1]
History
Founded in 1977, the Shreveport Rugby Football Club is a member of the Texas Geographical Union and travels to tournaments throughout the Southeastern United States. SRFC moved up from the Division II level to Division I. Shreveport Rugby will play clubs in Texas such as: Dallas Harlequins, Dallas Reds, Huns Rugby, Houston Area Rugby Club, and the Austin Brats. The club will also play other clubs from Louisiana and surrounding states such as Baton Rouge, Little Rock and Jackson.
