The Show County Quality Handicap is an Australian Turf Club Group 3 Thoroughbred horse race for three-year-old and older, run as a quality handicap over a distance of 1200 metres at Randwick Racecourse, Sydney in August.[1] Total prize money for the race is A$125,000.

Race history

The race is named in honour of the versatile sprinter Show County, who was predominant as a two-year-old and three old winning in 1988 and 1989 the following races:[2] Breeders Plate, Silver Slipper Stakes, Maribyrnong Plate, Skyline Stakes, Stan Fox Stakes, San Domenico Stakes, Roman Consul Stakes.
