The 10 metre running target competition at the 2004 Summer Olympics was held on August 18 and August 19 at the Markópoulo Olympic Shooting Centre near Athens, Greece. It was the last Olympic competition in the event before it was dropped off the Olympic program. The gold medal went to Manfred Kurzer of Germany who had set a new world record in the qualification round and could afford to shoot the worst final of the day and still win comfortably.
Qualification round
The slow runs were fired on August 18 and the fast runs on August 19.
