Shon Harris (March 27, 1968 – October 8, 2014) was a prolific author of books and articles on topics related to information security, including study guides for (ISC)2's CISSP security certification examination.[1] At the time of her death, over 1,000,000 copies of her books had been sold.[2]

Harris also served as an engineer in the United States Air Force Information Warfare Unit,[3] was as an information-security consultant, and founder of information-security training company, Logical Security.[4]

Harris was recognized as one of the top 25 women in the information-security field by Information Security magazine.[5][6]
