Shivli or Sheoli is a town and a nagar panchayat in Kanpur Dehat district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is located at 26°37′0″N 80°3′0″E / 26.61667°N 80.05000°E and has an average elevation of 128 meters (423 feet).

Jageshwar temple is an important religious center.[1] Shivli is also close to the Shobhan temple, whose maharaj holds power in the region. Tara Chand Inter College Sheoli is the first government supported institution in the town. Jai jageshwar Inter college is well regarded in Shivli.

Mr Radhakrishn Bajpai is the chairman of the town for the past 15 years.

The Pre School (Learn With Fun) is located at Rajender Reddy Nagar, Chandanagar, Hyderabad-50, Telangan state. Dr. Pingili Ramchandra Reddy is the director.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[2] Shivli had a population of 7830. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Shivli has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 75%, and female literacy is 62%. In Shivli, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
