Tokyo Metropolitan Shinjuku Yamabuki High School (東京都立新宿山吹高等学校 Tōkyō-to Ritsu Shinjuku Yamabuki Kōtōgakkō) is located in Yamabuki-cho, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. Shinjuku Yamabuki has Japan's most famous no class credit system and Information Technology course of high school. Shinjuku Yamabuki is operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Board of Education.

Many of the students leave school before graduation. This school is very diverse and is famous for its advanced technology.

The school is open from AM 8:45 to PM 9:15. They have to make out their schedule. Every student have to choose subjects and classes they learn and students pay tuition as the number of classes they take. For example, in 2003, students had to pay 1440 JPY per one class and at this time they must earn 74 credits to assure the graduation, and failing a credit meant throwing 1440 JPY down the drain.

There are also similar systems of highschools in Education in Finland based on the choice of every individual.
