Sheung Wan is one of the 15 constituencies of the Hong Kong Central & Western District Council. The seat elects one member of the council every four years. Since 1994, it has been held by Kam Nai-wai of the Democratic Party, a lawmaker between 2008 and 2012.
The constituency is loosely based on the Sheung Wan area with estimated population of 18,726.[2]
