Sherry Chris

Sherry Chris is president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC,[1] a subsidiary of Realogy Corporation.[2] Her appointment followed Realogy's 2007 announcement that it had entered into a 50-year term licensing agreement, with a renewal option for another 50 years, with Meredith Corporation to license the Better Homes and Gardens® brand name to launch a new global residential real estate franchise system.[3]

Chris was named 2010 Inman Innovator of the Year [4] and Best Executive in a service business of up to 100 employees at the 2010 Stevie Awards for Women in Business.[5] She currently serves on the advisory boards for Realtor.com and Zillow [6] and previously served on the advisory boards of Trulia and Google Real Estate.[7] She is a past chairman of The Realty Alliance.

Chris is a frequent speaker at real estate and technology conferences. She is also an avid user of social media [8] and reportedly spends two hours each day reading and contributing on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Foursquare [9] on topics including industry news and best brokerage practices.

Chris is a graduate of The University of Western Ontario and earned an MBA from the Ivey School of Business.[10]
