Sherbet Animation
Sherbet Animation was set up in 1996 by producer Jonathan Bairstow and Director Jonathan Hodgson, Sherbet won a BAFTA in 1999 with The Man With the Beautiful Eyes, and was a BAFTA nominee in 2002. Sherbet has also produced three series of Monkey Dust in association with TalkbackTHAMES for the BBC and animation and fx for Girls in Love series 1 and 2 with Granada Kids.
Sherbet has created TV advertising campaigns through advertising agencies for Bell Atlantic Telecommunications, Saab and SEAT cars, Persil, Vanguard Investment, Budweiser, Dove, United Airlines, Visa, MasterCard, Nokia, Ski, Yorkshire Tea, Scottish Power, The Home Office and General Mills, as well as a host of other one off TV commercials.
In house Producers at Sherbet are Managing Director Jonathan Bairstow and Sarah Essam. Short film distribution and festival entries are dealt with by Adam Aiken. The team work out of central offices together with an in house editing, comping, FX and 3D team.
