Shengavit Football Club (Armenian: Շենգավիթ Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ - Shengavit Futbolayin Akumb), was an Armenian football club based in the Shengavit District of Yerevan. It was dissolved in 2014.
History
It was originally founded as Koshkagorts Football Club. In 1992, the club was renamed Shengavit Football Club and represented the Shengavit District of Yerevan. It disbanded in 1993, yielding its spot in the Premier League to Yerazank FC from Stepanakert.
However, in 2008, the name of Shengavit was used by Ulisses FC as acover of their reserve team at the Armenian First League. Under the name Shengavit, the reserves of Ulisses FC (currently renamed Ulisses-2), became champions of the 2008 and 2011 seasons of the Armenian First League.
