Sheldon is a suburb of Redland City, Australia 23 kilometres (14 mi) south-east of the Brisbane CBD. The suburb and surrounds form part of South-East Queensland's largest koala protection zones and plays a vital part in the preservation of Queensland's koala population.

The name Sheldon originated from the village of the same name in Devonshire, United Kingdom.

Sheldon College, one of the largest schools in Redland City, is located here.
