Shelby Young (born April 8, 1992) is an American actress best known for her roles in The Social Network and American Horror Story. and Nightlight[1]
Career
Young's first role was in 2001 when she played the role of Sue Ann Butler on the Showtime series Going to California. From 2005 to 2008, she had a recurring role as Jennifer on Everybody Hates Chris, and from 2009 to 2011, she recurred on Days of Our Lives as Kinsey. Young has also had guest starring roles on the MTV series Awkward (2011), Ghost Whisperer (2006), and Freddie (2006). She then co-starred in the Universal Studios film Wild Child (2008). In 2010, Young played the role of KC in the film The Social Network.
In 2011, she had a recurring role as Leah on American Horror Story: Murder House, the first season in the anthology series. In addition, Young played the role of Rose in The Midnight Game, which was released in 2013 by Anchor Bay Entertainment.[2] Young has also starred in a film called 2 Bedroom 1 Bath (2014), and had a guest starring role on Criminal Minds (2012). In 2014, she played the role of Gloriana in the web series What's Next for Sarah?. Young's upcoming projects include the television movie Checked Out, Vivian Miller in the film Cawdor, and the lead role of Robin in Nightlight which was released by Lionsgate in theaters and on-demand on March 27, 2015.[3]
As a voice actress, Young recorded voice and motion capture for the lead role of Annie in Dead Rising 3.[4] Young previously voiced many of the Trix, Lucky Charms and Coco Puffs commercials,[5] and has also done ADR work in Wes Craven's My Soul To Take, Mel Gibson's Apocalypto, Blades of Glory etc.
