Sharrod Ford (born September 9, 1982) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Paris-Levallois Basket of the LNB Pro A.
Early years
Ford attended Clemson University from 2001-2005. At Clemson, he became the school's first player to lead his team in points and rebounds for two consecutive seasons since Horace Grant in the 1980s.
Professional career
Undrafted, Ford was signed by the Phoenix Suns of the NBA on September 12, 2005, after being released by the San Antonio Spurs. He moved on to the Fayetteville Patriots of the NBA Development League after 3 games in the NBA and joined ALBA Berlin for the rest of the season in March 2006. He signed a contract with Spartak St. Petersburg of the Russian Basketball Super League in September 2009. He later played for Sutor Basket Montegranaro, and in 2011, he signed with Bayern Munich. However, his contract with Bayern Munich was terminated by mutual consent in September 2011. In 2012, Ford signed with Brose Baskets Bamberg.[1] Ford signed with Paris-Levallois Basket of the LNB Pro A on June 30, 2014.[2]
