Shaarib Hashmi[1] is an Indian Bollywood actor, known for Oscar-winning movie Slumdog Millionaire (2008), National Award Winning movie Filmistaan (2012) & Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012). He made his film debut with the 2008 Oscar Winning film Slumdog Millionaire and achieved success in 2012 with the drama film Jab Tak Hai Jaan, for which he got immense appreciation.[2]
Early life and education
Sharib Hashmi was born in Malad, India, into a middle [3] class family. His father Z.A. Johar was a noted film journalist. He did his schooling from St. John's Model English High School, Mumbai and graduation from BHAVANS COLLEGE, Mumbai, India.
Career
Sharib started as an Assistant director in films then started writing shows for television secretly nurturing his desire to become an actor. He worked as an in-house script writer for MTV, Channel V. Later as a freelancer, he wrote anchor scripts for various reality shows. Later he worked in Oscar-winning movie Slumdog Millionaire (2008), National Award Winning movie Filmistaan (2014) & Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).
