Sharbel Qatan
Charbel Kattan (born 1970) is a Lebanese novelist, currently living in South Africa.[1] He was born in Maghdouche in southern Lebanon and moved to South Africa to pursue higher studies at the age of 20. He lives in Johannesburg. His debut novel Suitcases of Memory was longlisted for the 2012 Arabic Booker Prize.
