Sharam Kohan (Hebrew: שרם כהן) is a lawyer, mathematical logician, economist, social scientist, and mathematics olympiad gold medalist.[5]
Education and Awards
Kohan earned a Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) from Harvard Law School,[3][4] a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.) in social policy and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from University of Oxford.[2] Kohan received his first Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree at age nineteen[2] in economics from the University of Oxford.[3] Kohan has won two gold medals in Mathematics Olympiads.[5]
Career
Kohan is the Secretary General of the International Coalition to End Torture.[2] In 2001, he led the creation and formation of the coalition as an independent organization which used to be a Hong Kong based program of the Amnesty International. From 1996 to 2011, Kohan was the Chief Executive Officer of St. Vincent Community Services.[6]
