Shannon Walsh (born 1976) is a Canadian filmmaker, writer and scholar.[1] She has directed three feature documentaries H2Oil (2009), À St-Henri, le 26 août (2011) and Jeppe on a Friday (2012). Walsh works with Parabola Films, founded by Sarah Spring and Selin Murat.[2]
Walsh, who was born in London, Ontario, Canada, is also an academic, and holds the position of Assistant Professor at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong.[3] She received a PhD from McGill University in 2010, and completed a post-doc in the South African Research Chair in Social Change at the University of Johannesburg in 2013.[4]
