Shannon Shakespeare (born May 6, 1977 in Mission, British Columbia) is a former international freestyle swimmer from Canada, who competed for her native country at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia. There she finished in 17th position in the 200 m Freestyle. During the late 1990s Shakespeare was a key member in the Canadian Freestyle Relay Teams. She won a bronze medal in the 50m freestyle and 4x100m freestyle in the 1994 Commonwealth Games. She was the Canadian champion in the women's 50m freestyle in 1992, 1994, 1995 and 1999.
